The Duffle Bag Project – Children’s Center of Hamden with Renee Bauer: It’s that time of year when we reflect on how we can help those in need. Last year, my law firm donated 146 pillows to children who didn’t have the simplest of luxuries. This year, we are doing it again through a Duffle Bag Drive.
The Children’s Center of Hamden is a private, nonprofit child care agency whose mission is to give hope to youth who struggle with psychological or social problems, physical or sexual abuse, learning disabilities, substance abuse, and family trauma. When asked how we can help again, staff reflected on how heartbreaking it is to see the children stuff their belongings into trash bags upon discharge.
For the months of October and November, Bauer Law Group will be collecting new 26” duffle bags to donate to The Children’s Center of Hamden.
