Attorney Jennifer Siegel is a dedicated family law attorney committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of divorce, custody, child support, alimony, post-divorce modifications, adoption, and domestic violence matters. She approaches every case with compassion and strategic insight, ensuring her clients feel empowered to move forward and build better futures.
In addition to her family law practice, Jennifer has experience in administrative law, representing individuals facing professional licensing issues related to the Department of Developmental Services, as well as assisting with criminal pardons. Her diverse legal background provides her with a well-rounded perspective that enhances her ability to advocate for her clients effectively.
Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she focused her studies on women, gender, and the law. During law school, she externed at the New York Legal Aid Society for two semesters, assisting low-income individuals through the divorce process. She also gained valuable courtroom experience at the Pace Family Court Legal Program, where she represented domestic violence survivors seeking temporary restraining orders. Additionally, her work at the Connecticut Children’s Law Center gave her firsthand experience in evaluating the best interests of children in legal proceedings.
A natural leader, Jennifer served as president of Pace’s Women’s Association of Law Students and the Jewish Law Student Association, advocating for inclusivity and legal education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2018), where her academic research focused on the resiliency of children during parental divorce. She also presented at a psychology conference on the impact of micro-aggressions in college environments.
Jennifer remains deeply involved in the legal community as the co-president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Hartford County Bar Association and an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
Outside of her legal work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, belting out musical theater songs, and giving back to the community through volunteer work.
