Jay Suski
Investigator
About
He’s dedicated his life to uncovering the truth
Jay Suski brings three decades of law enforcement experience to the Happy Even After team, retiring as the Lieutenant of the Investigations Division. Throughout his distinguished career in a Connecticut police department, Jay conducted and oversaw major criminal investigations, background checks, and internal affairs matters, honing his ability to uncover critical facts, analyze complex situations, and deliver results with precision. His expertise in investigative strategy, evidence collection, and case analysis now serves as a powerful asset to our clients.
As an investigator and operations specialist, Jay is dedicated to gathering the facts that matter most. Whether uncovering financial discrepancies, verifying information, or piecing together the details that strengthen a client’s case, his meticulous approach ensures that no stone is left unturned. His law enforcement background gives him a unique ability to assess credibility, identify inconsistencies, and provide the solid foundation necessary for building the strongest possible legal strategies.
Beyond his professional skills, Jay understands the human side of family law on a personal level. As a divorced father of three and a stepfather to one, he knows firsthand the emotional toll of divorce, the challenges of co-parenting, and the reality that life after divorce can be both fulfilling and hopeful. His personal experience, combined with his investigative acumen, allows him to support clients not just with strategy but also with empathy and perspective.
When he’s not working, Jay can be found on the golf course (where he’s still perfecting his swing), in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, or enjoying time with his wife and family.
